Background and Legal Framework

Solution SACCO is a licensed tier one; Deposit taking SACCO established in 1976 with an aim to champion social economic prosperity of its members. The SACCO is licensed and regulated by Sacco Societies Regulatory Authority (SASRA) with an asset base of over 7.5Bn with over 25,000 members drawn from different sectors; education, health, Cooperatives, Counties and National Government employees, MSMEs, Chamas and other community-based organizations. Solution SACCO has positioned itself as a leading financial institution in the country and beyond by offering competitive member-focused savings and credit products and services. To meet its members dynamic needs, the sacco established two subsidiaries; Suluhisho Letu Insurance Agency and Solution Housing and Investment Cooperative to cater for its members dynamic needs.

A WORD FROM OUR CEO ON THE FUTURE OF SOLUTION SACCO.

This Strategic Plan 2018-2020 was developed in a consultative and participatory process involving Solution SACCO Board of Directors, the Senior Managers and Branch Managers.

This Strategic Planning activity was carried out in the context of transformation programme, which we are implementing.

We held many meetings, structured dialogues at functional and organizational levels. We confronted our realities, assessed functional business and support departments, examined ourselves and searched for solutions within and without.

I wish to express my gratitude to the all participants for your contributions and feedback.

I celebrate the hard work, collaboration and dedication of our Board of Directors and Staff for steering Solution SACCO to its third strategy cycle. You have seized a great moment to transform this organization in to a modern effective SACCO that addresses her member’s needs sustainably.
